How We Are Different
Therapists’ Expertise
Treatment is provided solely by licensed occupational therapists (not students).
Our therapists have extensive experience and ongoing training resulting in excellence in treatment. Continuity of care is provided by working with the same therapist each session.
Comprehensive Treatment
We identify the underlying factors contributing to your concerns and understand how these factors impact function.
We are one of the few clinics in Indiana combining comprehensive treatment of sensory processing needs, skill development, and reflex integration work, in addition to providing trauma-informed treatment and adoption-competent treatment. Our goal is to remediate and improve the areas of concern and function.
Collaborative Treatment
We empower and collaborate with you to improve the client’s function.
Therapy occurs in individual treatment rooms with parents present for education, training, and strategy development enhancing the effectiveness of treatment and providing families tools for home. We can collaborate with your caregivers, teachers, counselors, and doctors for best outcomes.
What is Occupational Therapy?
Occupational therapy addresses and improves factors that interfere with a person performing their daily “occupations”. For children this includes “occupations” such as play, socializing, peer relationships, school, self-care, home activities, and leisure activities. For adults with Sensory Processing needs, “occupations” can refer to the areas of work, social, family, and leisure activities.
